Aim & Scope

The International Journal of Sociology publishes research on issues central to cross-national and comparative scholarship in sociology. It has a long tradition of publishing thematic issues on topics of interest to a wide sociological audience. Published works are theoretically refined and empirically complex, and embody a global perspective essential for sociological scholarship. The core audience of the journal is sociologists, although it also engages scholars in related fields like area studies, history, and political science.
