Journal Representation

Aim & Scope

Representation has been published since 1960. It is well known for its longstanding and particular interest in the study of elections and voting systems, although it welcomes submissions on all matters relating to the theme of ‘representation and democracy' in the broadest sense. The journal therefore has a wide substantive and geographic remit, and will consider empirical or theoretical contributions, ranging from articles to research notes and election reports. Representation is read primarily by academics and students, journalists and election practitioners, but aims to be accessible to political informed lay readers. [1]
