Aim & Scope
The Cuban Journal of Information in Health Sciences was founded in 1993. Until 2012 it was named Acimed. Object of study : "The information sciences and their relations with health" Mission: Offer a space for scientific communication in the area of information sciences and its relations with health. Vision : To become a reference magazine in the field of information sciences and its relations with health from an interdisciplinary perspective. Among the issues published by the Magazine are: Organization and representation of information and knowledge; Bibliometric studies on specific topics related to health sciences; Education and training of information professionals; Studies of needs and use of health information resources; Information technologies and their application to health sciences; Information management in health services and systems; Information systems and services for health organizations.
