Aim & Scope

The Journal of Health Monitoring is an online journal that focuses on important public health issues. The Journal is published by the Robert Koch Institute as part of the Federal Health Reporting in Germany and uses an open access format aimed at a broad (professional) public. The target groups primarily include stakeholders in health care, politics and research. The Journal aims to present scientific information in a way that is readily comprehensible. It focuses on the health and health-related behaviour of the population as well as disease prevention and the utilisation of health care services in Germany. One of the central data sources for published articles is the nationwide health monitoring at the Robert Koch Institute. [1]
