Aim & Scope
AJO International is committed to fostering a global and international exchange of knowledge within the field of ophthalmology and visual science. Ophthalmologists, optometrists, and all professionals dedicated to eye care delivery are encouraged to submit original, unpublished manuscripts. AJO International publishes peer-reviewed full-length articles, reviews, perspectives, editorials, photo essays, technical papers, and pilot studies (including those reporting negative results). In exceptional cases, case reports and brief reports may be accepted. Submissions are expected to be clear, concise, and well-documented. As an Open Access companion title to the American Journal of Ophthalmology and the American Journal of Ophthalmology Case Reports, AJO International serves a diverse and extensive global readership, playing a significant role in influencing and shaping advancements in eye care on a worldwide scale.
