Journal Seton Hall Law Review

Aim & Scope

The Seton Hall Law Review began publication in 1967, and is the oldest academic journal at the Seton Hall University School of Law. This year, the Seton Hall Law Review prepares to publish its Thirty-sixth volume of legal scholarship and continues to grow in national prominence. Each volume consists of four books, published in November, February, April and June. The Seton Hall Law Review has grown from 265 pages in Volume One, to over 1,700 pages in Volume Thirty. One study of the citing of law reviews by the United States Court of Appeals ranked the Seton Hall Law Review as the sixth most cited law review among the federal appellate courts. The Seton Hall Law Review has also been cited in numerous decisions of the United States Supreme Court, including a landmark case on the limits of congressional constitutional power. The Seton Hall Law Review continues to provide a dynamic voice in legal scholarship, publishing articles in a wide range of substantive areas. Recent articles have included works by Richard Merrill, Theodore Olsen and Deborah Hensler. [1]
