Aim & Scope

The journal focuses on the aspects of food manufacture and biochemical engineering of concern to chemical engineers. Food engineering papers feature the following subjects: food processing operations, hygiene, cleaning, extraction, packaging. On the biochemical engineering side it includes such activities as: bioreactor design and performance, microbial and enzymic reactions, fermentation, upstream and downstream processing, instrumentation and control and membranes.
