Aim & Scope
Acta Entomologica Musei Nationalis Pragae (AEMNP) was established in 1923. So far, 53 regular volumes and 14 supplemetary volumes have been published. From 2008 onwards, AEMNP is published biannually, accompanied with irregular Supplements. Formerly, the Department of Entomology of the National Museum in Prague has been issuing four publication series, three of which were discontinued and merged with Acta Entomologica Musei Nationalis Pragae in 2008: 1) Acta Entomologica Musei Nationalis Pragae (ISSN 0374-1036; originally published as Sborník entomologického oddělení Národního muzea v Praze, ISSN 0862-0423). This journal was founded in 1923 and its publication was renewed after a break of almost a decade in 2005. 2) Acta Entomologica Musei Nationalis Pragae, Supplementum (ISSN 0231-8571; originally published as Sborník entomologického oddělení Národního muzea v Praze, Supplementum, ISSN 0862-0415) is a supplement series of Acta Entomologica Musei Nationalis Pragae, with irregular publications of monographs or special issues on various topics. Eleven volumes of the supplement series appeared so far, the last one in 2007. 3 and 4) Acta Faunistica Entomologica Musei Nationalis Pragae (ISSN 0554-9264) and its supplement series Acta Faunistica Entomologica Musei Nationalis Pragae, Supplementum (ISSN 0551-7931). Both of them ceased to appear in the 1980s and were de facto discontinued. [1]
