Aim & Scope
Les Comptes Rendus - Chimie is a peer-reviewed electronic scientific journal that publishes original open-access research articles. This is one of the seven journals published by the Academy of Sciences. Its objective is to enable researchers to quickly make their work known to the international scientific community. Les Comptes Rendus - Chimie also publish journal articles, thematic issues and articles reflecting the history of the Academy of Sciences and its current scientific activity. From 2020 , the journal's policy is based on a diamond open access model: there is no charge for authors to publish nor for readers to access articles. Thus, the articles are accessible immediately, free of charge and permanently after publication (see the editor-in-chief's editorial for the first issue under this new policy in the box below). Les Comptes Rendus - Chemistry , one objective: high-level scientific exchanges between the various sub-disciplines of chemistry. Les Comptes Rendus - Chimie publish monthly original research work (notes, short papers) and review articles (updates, historical chronicles) in all fields of chemistry (organic, inorganic, bio-organic, bio-inorganic , organometallic, macromolecular, physical, in the solid state).
