Aim & Scope
The American Journal of Energy Engineering (AJEE) reports on the development of scientific and engineering knowledge in the planning, management, and generation of energy engineering. AJEE aims to promote rapid communication and dialogue among researchers, scientists, and engineers working in the areas of energy engineering. The journal provides a focus for activities concerning the development, assessment and management of energy engineering related programs. It is hoped that this journal will prove to be an important factor in raising the standards of discussion, analyses, and evaluations relating to energy engineering programs. The topics related to this journal include but are not limited to: Energy policy and economics; Energy systems operation; Energy sustainability; Energy efficiency; Consumption of energy; Conservation of energy; Financial and customer markets; Generation of electric power; Hydropower planning; Network and transmission planning; Nuclear power issues; Power plant safety; Regulatory and financial issues; Solar power and renewable energy; Security of infrastructure network; Waste-to-energy systems; Waste management issues; Environmental issues.
