Published for the Royal Entomological Society. Ecological Entomology publishes only top quality original research papers on the ecology of insects. It covers such topics as: field biology and natural history of terrestrial and aquatic insects; inter-relationships between insects and host plants, other animals and pathogens; insects and weather; migration and dispersal; adaptations for survival in unfavourable seasons and habitats; the size and natural regulation of field populations; specific diversity and spatial disposition; rhythmic behaviour of populations; field responses to behaviour-controlling chemicals; environmental and integrated control of pest populations; behavioural ecology.
