Journal Journal of Dual Diagnosis

Aim & Scope

The Journal of Dual Diagnosis examines the latest research in the co-occurrence of mental health disorders and substance abuse disorders. This important new publication provides you with current trends in research and practice as well as case studies from treatment programs internationally. This journal will serve clinicians, research neuroscientists, mental health services researchers, and health service administrators, as well as junior colleagues in training who are encouraged to contribute articles for publication. The Journal of Dual Diagnosis presents high quality, original scientific papers, brief research reports, clinical case reports, and review articles important to the clinical and therapeutic aspects of dual diagnosis. Each issue will also feature “Best Practices”—a column consisting of an account of an exemplary service provided by the lead clinician from a program and an account written by an individual recovering from co-occurring disorders. “Best Practices” will help readers better understand recovery principles, model clinical practices, and pertinent aspects of the complexity of dual diagnosis.
