Aim & Scope
The increasing importance of legal development to all those involved in the implementation of social policy - lawyers, social workers, probation officers, health care professionals - means that The Journal of Social Welfare and Family Law is more than ever essential reading for all those required to have a comprehensive working knowledge of these areas of law and social policy. The journal gives invaluable interdisciplinary coverage of a wide range of issues. Recent editions have addressed problems relating to: children, civil liberties, ethnic minorities, families, housing, education, immigration, physical and mental health, residential homes, social security, welfare rights and social work.
