Aim & Scope
Anales del Instituto de Investigaciones Estéticas / Anales magazine of the Aesthetic Research Institute of the National Autonomous University of Mexico is a biannual publication, specializing in image theory, art history and aesthetics open to all related disciplines. It includes research works, critical analysis of documentary testimonies, reports of artistic works, news, biographical sketches and reviews of publications within the field of artistic production in all its manifestations. Throughout its history, it has been enriched by the participation of prestigious researchers from around the world, as evidenced by the indices of each issue. From 1937 to 1993, the magazine was published annually. Starting in 1994, Anales appears twice a year. [1]
