Aim & Scope
Starting in 2001 the publishers of the five Macromolecular journals will be bringing in addition the new journal Macromolecular Bioscience which will be bound into Macromolecular Chemistry and Physics . This guarantees authors an excellent exposure of their articles. This new journal will complete the package of the highly successful Wiley-VCH polymer journals. Macromolecular Bioscience publishes Full Papers Communications as well as Feature Articles and Reviews in the field of chemistry physics biotechnology characterization modification and biomedical applications of biomaterials including biopolymers (polymers from natural and renewable resources such as proteins peptides carbohydrates nucleic acids) programmable biosynthesis of new polymers biomineralization biomimetics biocomposites and membranes. Other important topics encompass biocatalysis bioreaction engineering applications in life sciences biosensors and diagnostics bioinformatics nanobiology combinatorial methods polymeric drugs and controlled drug release systems as well as tissue engineering.
