Aim & Scope
Journal of the Royal Society Interface was launched, to huge acclaim, by the Society in 2004 as a response to the significant growth in activity and research in areas which transcend the original life sciences/physical sciences divide. It publishes cross-disciplinary articles which apply chemistry, mathematics, engineering, materials science and physics to biology and medicine; it also highlights discoveries in the life sciences which further advance the physical sciences.
