Journal Communications Chemistry

Aim & Scope

Communications Chemistry is an open access journal from Nature Research publishing high-quality research, reviews and commentary in all areas of the chemical sciences. Research papers published by the journal represent significant advances bringing new chemical insight to a specialized area of research. We also aim to provide a community forum for issues of importance to all chemists, regardless of sub-discipline. Scope includes, but is not limited to, the core subject areas of analytical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry and physical chemistry, and covers the broad spectrum of chemical research including catalysis, computational chemistry, energy materials, green chemistry, medicinal chemistry, polymer chemistry, supramolecular chemistry and surface chemistry. We also consider submissions from adjacent research fields where the central advance of the study is of interest to chemists, for example biochemistry, chemical biology, materials science and nanoscience.
