Aim & Scope

Meteorology (ISSN 2674-0494) is an international, cross-disciplinary, scholarly, peer-reviewed, open access journal of scientific studies related to atmospheric science. Meteorology publishes critical reviews, regular research papers, short notes, and editorial comments, etc. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. Therefore, there is no restriction on the length of the papers. For theory papers, full details of proofs must be provided so that results can be checked. For experimental papers, full experimental details must be provided so that results can be reproduced. Additionally, electronic files or software regarding the full details of the calculations, experimental procedure, etc., can be deposited along with the publication as “Supplementary Material”. Scope: Weather and climate extremes; Atmosphere ocean dynamics; Mesoscale meteorology; Air pollution meteorology; Agricultural and forest meteorology; Polar meteorology; Boundary layer meteorology; Tropical meteorology; Mountain meteorology; Weather analysis and forecasting; Applied meteorology; Radar and satellite meteorology; Cloud physics and weather modification; Cloud dynamics and thermodynamics; Numerical weather prediction; Data assimilation; [1]
